Attendance Hours Requirements
- A FULL TIME Student is taking 6 or more courses and needs 990 hours per year
- A PART-TIME student is taking 5 or fewer courses and needs 150 hours logged PER COURSE
- 2 courses = 300 hours logged for the year (2 * 150 = 300)
- 3 courses = 450 hours logged for the year (3 * 150 = 450)
- 4 courses = 600 hours logged for the year (4 * 150 = 600)
- 5 courses = 750 hours logged for the year (5 * 150 = 750)
- 6 courses (FULL TIME) = 990 hours logged for the year
- If a student is missing 1 or more live Class Connect sessions:
- Email Class Connect teacher(s) directly to let them know of the student’s absence from class.
- The student must view the recording, complete the engagement assignment as outlined in the recording, and enter attendance to the appropriate subject.
- If a student is missing 1-3 consecutive FULL days of school (not completing OMHS coursework OR attending live Class Connect sessions)
- Email Class Connect teacher(s) directly to let them know of the student’s absence from class.
- The student must view the recording and complete the engagement assignment as outlined in the recording.
- The Learning Coach will auto fill 0’s for attendance and add make up work attendance on the date your student completes it.
- If a student is missing 4+ consecutive FULL days of class (not completing OMHS coursework OR attending live Class Connect sessions)
- Email Class Connect teacher(s) directly to let them know of the student’s absence from class.
- The student must view the recording and complete the engagement assignment as outlined in the recording.
- The Learning Coach emails [email protected] with the following subject: First and Last Name and Student grade level.
